Dawson Hayre is a lifelong Lodi resident who has built his career and community involvement around responsibility, service, and problem-solving.
Professionally, Dawson works as a compliance and safety supervisor, where he is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, improving workplace safety, and protecting employees. His professional experience has reinforced the importance of planning, accountability, and making thoughtful decisions that put people first.
Dawson is deeply involved in the Lodi community. He serves as Vice President of BOBS, a nonprofit that has provided affordable youth sports opportunities to local families for more than 65 years. Through this role, he works closely with volunteers, coaches, and parents to strengthen programs and expand access for kids across Lodi. He is also a board member of Friends of Lodi Lake, helping protect and enhance one of the city’s most valued public spaces, and a member of the Lodi Improvement Committee, where he contributes to efforts that improve Lodi’s neighborhoods and quality of life.
Dawson is running for City Council to continue serving the community that raised him and to bring a practical, collaborative approach to local leadership focused on solutions rather than politics.
